1. Introduction & Ownership

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Bilti Menutzach ("Bilti Menutzach", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information gathered from merchants, cashiers, store owners, and consumers who use the SmartMusika Point of Sale (POS) software platform, our official websites, and our connected marketplace service, MarketMeld.

2. The SmartMusika & MarketMeld Architecture

SmartMusika POS is an enterprise point-of-sale system enabling retail shops, tuckshops, supermarkets, private merchants, and wholesalers to manage in-store sales, cashier shifts, barcode scanning, and multi-branch inventory.

By choosing to connect to MarketMeld, merchants authorize SmartMusika to synchronize designated public product information (including item descriptions, categories, pricing, and live inventory availability) to the public MarketMeld marketplace. This synchronization enables consumers to find nearest stores, view stock availability in real time, compare pricing, and place click-and-collect reservations.

3. Information We Collect

• Merchant Registration Data: Store name, registered business address, business registration numbers, owner/CEO contact details, phone numbers, email addresses, and tax identifiers.
• Operational & Transaction Data: Inventory SKUs, barcodes, transaction timestamps, cashier identification, tender types (cash, EcoCash, swipe, bank transfer), and sales receipts.
• MarketMeld Consumer Data: When customers place a reserve-and-collect order, basic contact details (name, phone number, email) are provided to the store merchant solely for order fulfillment.
• Technical Device & Security Logs: IP address, terminal identifiers, browser type, operating system, and system performance metrics collected for fraud prevention and system stability.

4. How We Protect Your Information

We employ industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/SSL in transit and AES-256 at rest), access control permissions, and secure server hosting environments. We do not sell, trade, or rent personal identification information or confidential business profit margins to third parties.

5. Data Retention & Deletion Rights

In compliance with the Zimbabwe Cyber and Data Protection Act and South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), merchants and end users have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of their personal information.
